Welcome to the BalanceTrack Checking Account Management program. This program will give you the tools and education you need to open a checking account at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.

Through the online self-study course, you will learn about smart checking account management. By applying what you learn in this course, you can avoid costly returned check fees and frustrating account errors, while minimizing your risk of fraud.

Follow the steps below to start the process of obtaining a checking account with SchoolsFirst FCU.

Here’s how to get started.

1. Make sure that all previous financial obligations noted in your ChexSystems report have been paid in full. Obtain and keep receipts for these payments.
2. Read and study each chapter in the course.
3. Take the online exam and pass with a score of 8 out of 10 or better.
4. Print your certificate of completion and present it to a SchoolsFirst FCU representative, along with proof that any monies owed are paid in full.

Please note: If your previous account was closed because of fraud or suspected fraud, SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union will not allow you to open a checking account. If you believe the report is inaccurate, contact ChexSystems at 800/428-9623 for information on how to have your report corrected.
